Repainting of exterior weatherboard cladding due to its deteriorated condition.
The Challenge
Stripping of deteriorated and failed paint coating from the weatherboard surface prior to repainting.
The Solution
The existing paint was removed back to bare timber using an Alderson sander.
Some Of The Interesting Stuff
A water-based coating was applied by a previous contractor approximately 10 years ago, directly over a deteriorating oil-based paint system, resulting in premature coating failure.
